Nick Sheridan is a Manchester-based author and producer who writes novels that most would define as Contemporary Fantasy, where the very ordinary and the slightly extraordinary sit side by side.

Nick is supposedly finishing work on Dead Ringer, but right now seems more focused on 500(ish) Days In The Quiet Room.

He has also written (and performed!) the seasonal short story The Christmas Santa Slept, and did something rather rude to John Green.

There is some excellent prose on depression here, without being too hammy or self-help-y. It isn't therapy/education couched in story, it is story. I don't think it quite hit me like it could have, maybe because I always find myself resentful of frie ...more
