I live in a small Illinois town, where I gathered inspiration for my first book, Tales from the Front Desk.

I feel more inspired to write by movies and real life experiences than from reading books, but I still enjoy reading. There is not any one author I find to be my "favorite." For the most part I consider every book, no matter the author or genre, to be a reference book.

Overall, I'm a hermit. I enjoy keeping to myself, staying in, hunkering down with Netflix, and writing whatever comes to mind. I prefer writing stories with a twist, but I enjoyed writing Tales from the Front Desk, as I was able to mix fact with fiction to create the book.
