“Therefore, lack of training in dealing in subtle energies and the need for more personal development in some areas of our character can cause us to misinterpret the true source of such experiences and to incorrectly assume that they were our own personal experience.”
William Fergus Martin, Afterlife Adventures: Life After Death Stories | What Happens when We Die | Is there Proof?

“When someone becomes obsessed with making money, or is obsessed with sex or has a jealous obsession, it has a very bad effect on their inner development. Rather than cultivating any of the finer feelings, they are leading a narrow and restricted life and have stunted their spiritual development. There is nothing inherently wrong with making money, with sex, or whatever; it is what people sometimes turn themselves into to fulfill their obsession that’s the real problem. It is the callous way they treat others that is the core of the issue. If they mislead, lie, cheat and steal in some way to get money, sex or power this is what stunts their development and puts them in harmony with low Astral levels and even Hell states. It is not so much what a person wants which is the problem; it is doing harm to others in order to get what they want which is the problem.”
William Fergus Martin, Afterlife Adventures: Life After Death Stories | What Happens when We Die | Is there Proof?

“Not everyone has developed their thinking capacities and is able to hold a clear and organized line of thought.”
