Klaas Huizing studied philosophy and theology. His most famous book is "Der Buchtrinker", the story of man who murdered für getting books - based on a true story. He lives in Saarbrücken and Würzburg and is chief editor of the magazine OPUS.

Klaas Huizing promovierte 1986 in Philosophie, 1989 in Theologie und habilitierte 1993. Von 1988 bis 1995 war er Assistent und Oberassistent von Prof. Dr. Dr. Timm in München. Ab 1995 Vertreter und seit 1998 Ordinarius am Lehrstuhl für Systematische Theologie und theologische Gegenwartsfragen der Universität Würzburg.
