The 'write a novel in the month of November challenge' nears. I did it two years ago and actually produced a readable 55K word book. That novel is now in 3rd draft at 75K and awaiting critique next month. This year I'm going to try the challenge again. I'm noodling a sequel to The Sixth Helix (to be published in 2019) and can't wait for Nov.1st's starter pistol.

A huge fan of the Ian Richardson British adaptation (in typical Brit fashion, they were content to adapt with excellence, and move on), the book stands the test of time. Dobbs adroitly skewers politicians, media, civil servants and the hangers-on.
