Originally from Stafford, Connecticut, Dave Mercier now calls Los Angeles home. After earning his Bachelor's in Game Art and Design, Dave began making comics for the internet. Within three years, his comic MercWorks had made a name for itself. 2013 saw the release of his first book, The Joy of Despair - a collection of all MercWorks comics to date. A follow-up collection, The Cure for the Human Condition, was released in 2015.
