Diana LeBost has been an artist all her life, spending much of her childhood drawing and playing piano and guitar. Finally deciding to pursue art rather than music, she graduated from CALARTS, and worked for the next twenty years in animation, most notably as a final line artist for Dreamworks. After meeting animator/illustrator Sahin Ersoz and reading to his two young daughters, Diana was inspired to reconnect with her childhood dream of writing and illustrating, and has since written many short stories and especially poems. An avid reader of classic literature, she infuses her children’s poems with a love of language, something her English teacher grandmother drummed into her from an early age.
