I absolutely loved this book! The way the women are portrayed as motherly nurturing figures while still being powerful warriors and leaders is something the fantasy genre is missing. 10/10 and I cried at the end!

This is essentially a Hallmark movie in a book. Is it cheesy? Yes. Is it predictable? Yes. Is it also really fun to read and it makes you smile? Also, yes. It was just one of those books you read and can’t help but like.

the only reason this book has two stars instead of one is because the chaotic nature of the main character was a pleasant change from the usual FMC.

Steve Jobs
“Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
