"Dontcha know? I'm Electro!" AKA my review of "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" (SPOILERS AHEAD!)

Happy Saturday, everyone. Today, I finally got around to seeing the new Spider-Man movie.

I'll start off by saying I didn't particularly love the first one. I thought it was too soon for a re-reboot, and too goofy to be taken seriously at certain parts. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't one I would've seen twice in theaters--or even bought after the fact. Which I haven't.

I found it read a bit slow at parts, but overall, it kept me interested enough to keep reading. Also, I love stories about curmudgeonly characters! Sure, Veronica could be insufferable and manipulative at times, but she was otherwise fun to read. Pat ...more
