Sean Keefe was born and raised in Warrington, Cheshire, and now lives in Preston, where he wanders the country playing musical instruments for a living. To date, he's released three albums, a novel, been the subject of a documentary movie, is the only person to have appeared on Countdown wearing a hat in its 30 year history, and is the only man ever to navigate the 42 mile long Lancaster Canal in a pedalo, playing a concert at every venue along the way.

The artwork is BRILLIANT. Just given this a re-read, and really enjoyed it! Pagany takes on Robin Hood. Conan fights Christianity. Pat Mills airs some grievances. All top, bloodthirsty fun!

Blimey, Bernie’s an interesting guy who really does know how to write! A fascinating book, plenty of name dropping, but a little too much detail about hotels, I thought. Still, top fella. Top book.

Some excellent points in this, with lots of underscoring evidence for Ashe’s arguments, and a pretty good summation of a lot of his writing. Probably a touch outdated now, but certainly good for thought regarding the possibility of a “real Arthur”.
