John Fort is the author of over 30 books and video series. All of his works explore the challenges of facing our past, finding resilience through disappointment, and redeeming failure. He often examines a single conflict from different angles through separate fiction and non-fiction books.

John’s passion for addressing sensitive topics is informed by his own story — a long term transformational journey through tragic challenges in childhood and needed reformation during his young adulthood. John engages readers with the humble aim to redeem negative experiences in service to others and to God. He and his wife, Anna, of 30+ years live in Oregon; they have two adult children.
