Bruce Freedman grew up in Montreal and moved to Hong Kong shortly after university to pursue a career in investment research. Disillusioned by the megabucks he earned for staring at a computer screen, he returned to Canada and (much to his mother's chagrin) embarked on a journey as a humor writer. He soon realized that this means microbucks for staring at that same computer screen. Aside from his recent success with 'You Don't Look Young For Your Age,' selling his funny stories has been no easy task with over 100 rejections to date -- including United Airline's 'Hemispheres', the one "magazine" that his younger self would have refused to even submit to.
