When Lois Strachan became blind at the age of 21, she realized she had a choice. She could let her blindness determine the rest of her life, or she could go out and see what was still possible for her as a blind woman living in a sighted world.
A week after losing her sight Lois joined a rock band. Three weeks after losing her sight she returned to university to complete her bachelor’s degree.
