Its the true coming of age story of Graden as a chubby 13-year old in the early 1970s who was the victim of bullies, bad clothes, and a mouth-full of braces.

After seeing a Bruce Lee kung fu movie, he joins a karate club to learn the way of wisdom and butt whipping.

He idolized his deadly black belt instructors only to discover that they were involved in drugs, perverted sex, and even murder.
