Lí Marta nasceu em Águeda em 1973, onde vive até hoje. É casada e mãe de dois filhos gémeos. Tem na família os pilares da sua vida e nos filhos o seu maior orgulho e a razão de viver.

Durante muito tempo, fez parte do grupo dos que “não gostam de ler”, até que um livro, um dia, mudou o trajecto da sua vida. O mundo fascinante das palavras tornou-se um hábito.

A preferência recai nos romances, daqueles que fazem chorar. Entre alguns escritores favoritos, ela destaca Nicholas Sparks, Danielle Steel, Nora Roberts…

O desejo de escrever um livro sobre a história do amor vivido pela sua avó materna foi crescendo no seu peito e, sem ajudas nem incentivos, pôs mãos à obra.
