My name is Amy Leigh Napier and I live in a small town in West Virginia. I have been an avid reader all my life and a lover of romance novels since Harlequin teen novels. I have always loved to write my own stories but never tried to get published. I had always planned to be a romance novelist someday but as often happens, life interfered and my life went in a different direction for many years. Then my son reminded me one is never too old to pursue a dream. Thus, the idea for Melting the Ice was born. After many rewrites and making my friends read the same thing over and over I decided to self-publish my novel through NookPress via Barnes and Noble and through Kindle via Amazon as an ebook. Happy May!

Well…seems like Spring has sprung and the weather has been perfect! If only it could stay that way. Unfortunately, the sweltering heat of summer will be here soon enough. Ugh. Lol Yes, I prefer cooler weather! Sue me! My theory is if it’s cold, you can always put on more clothing. When it’s hot, you can only strip down so far and then you’re still hot! Lol
