Dana L. Stringer is an Atlanta-based writer, poet, playwright, screenwriter, and teaching artist with a Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Antioch University Los Angeles. She is a Cave Canem fellow and the author of the chapbook In Between Faith. Her poems have been published in the African American Review, Obsidian: Literature & Arts in the African Diaspora, and a host of anthologies and online literary outlets. Dana is also the artist-in-residence at Out of Hand Theater (Atlanta). Her work (commissions, in-person and virtual staged readings, productions, monologues, and interdisciplinary art) have been produced by True Colors Theatre, Theatrical Outfit, The Billie Holiday Theatre, Black Theatre Network, Out of Hand Theater, Ala ...more
