Mikes broad management and technical experience in the IT field has included periods in development, business, academia, government, R&D and manufacturing. Over half of his career has been spent in financial services IT.
Over the nine years before he acquired the David Consulting Group in 2006, Mike held key IT and software development executive roles in large corporations: Fidelity National Information Services, Sanchez Computer Associates and MasterCard International. Prior to joining MasterCard International, Mike worked as a consultant to them for two years. Mikes consulting career started during his five years at Nene College (now University of Northampton) where he was Deputy Head of the Department of Engineering.
