I have been reading for as long as I can remember, always finding escape in the words of J K Rowling, Philip Pullman, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and many others.

I don't know when I decided to start writing, I have always assumed it was around 8 or 9 years old. I have dabbled in science writing and got an article published in the Ecologist magazine when I was 21. I have done blogging and reviewing for many video game and comic websites but fantasy writing has always been my one true love.

I have loved turning my real life world experiences and lessons learnt into stories that kept me company throughout my teen-hood and travels turning myself from science nerd into "professional liar" (according to mum), although I'm still very much a nerd. ...more
