Jennie abides near the Rocky Mountains with her big blended family and a very high-energy puppy. Battling chronic illnesses has brought its challenges, and she can't do many of the things she used to, but ultimately, writing has anchored her to reality and saved her.

Like many, Jennie lives for the fall, and not just because of her love of football. In her perfect world, she would have the springs, summers, and falls of Colorado, and the winters of Arizona, somewhere with a climate that would allow her to write outdoors or hike all year-round. She might prefer the pines and mountains, but she's a devoted fan of all nature, and finds it has a magic all its own.

Part of Who I Am

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted. I wish I could say this will be about my writing process or successes. I actually have no news in that area, unfortunately (if you don’t count that I am still in the trenches of my paranormal YA rewrite, and that I will be attending Colorado Gold (writing conference) again this September–where, after much deliberation, I have decided to pitch Hemlock Veils
