Alou Randon grew up in Texas and Iowa.

Alou’s short story “Thrips” was published in 2013 in issue #7 of Obsolete! Magazine. In 2014, “The Capitalist Party” was included in the anthology, AnarchoSF, and “Village F” was featured in the Exuberant Politics Exhibition in Iowa City.

Also in 2014, Alou began working on her novel, Christiania. She spent a month in 2015 living in Denmark exploring the cities that her characters visited, ultimately incorporating a handful of real-life events into the plot. Christiania will be available in early 2017.

In the fall of 2015, Alou moved back to Houston, doing spoken-word performances and publishing the zine entitled Für Neter.
