A court-recognized forensic interviewer of children who have been physically and sexually abused he is also a qualified forensic interviewer of adults. Evin represents abused, abandoned and neglected children's interests in court as a volunteer Guardian ad Litem, a role he has fulfilled for 10 years. Evin's extensive training has included qualifications gained from instruction from the Academy Group - FBI BSU specialists (Criminal and violent behaviors), the British Police' National Crime Agency's Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP) in London, and a University of Central Lancashire's Postgraduate Certificate in Forensic Behavioral Psychology. And much more.

Growing up in Ireland, he attended St. Johns National School in Sligo in the West of Ireland where five of the 10 teachers were active sex offenders against children, a fact that only came to light in the late 1990s. Retiring from business in 2003 he has spent his life since then working to protect children from abuse while shining a spotlight on stories of child abuse through the media. He lectures and writes frequently on the subjects of child protection and child abuse.
