Pamela Trawick grew up in Arkansas, but lived for many years in Colorado, so it was only natural that her first book be set in both of her home states. The story of Willie Joe and Dory-Ann, although fictional, is intensely personal in theme and subject because of the heartbreak she experienced with her father's unsuccessful battle with lung cancer and her mother's shockingly quick death from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
Pamela holds an English degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Juris Doctor from the University of Denver. As an attorney specializing in family law and estate planning, she helped clients deal with the rocky terrain of emotions and challenges tied to aging and family dynamics.
