Charlene Groome started writing stories throughout high school and went on to study journalism and creative writing. As a freelance news reporter, she then worked in radio broadcasting. After having her first child, she began writing again, penning romance stories because she loves happy endings. As a published author, she’s living her dream. A fitness enthusiast, she loves romcoms, all things girly and has a soft spot for home decor. She lives on the West Coast of British Columbia with her husband and three children. When she’s not writing, she enjoys hanging out at the lake with her family.

This was an interesting read. I don’t think I’ve ever read a fiction book with what felt like a memoir. I enjoyed following the main character, Sybil as she unfolds memories and comes to terms with heartbreak.
