Amazon bestselling and multi-award-winning author Janina Rossiter brings her passions together in her work: painting and illustrating children's books.

As an illustrator and author, Janina was inspired to write "Diamonds, Hearts & Sea Stars!" and "123 Who’s Cleaning the Sea?" because of her concern for our environment. Janina created the illustrations for the Blue Ocean Watch video ‘The Song of Life’ relating to sound pollution affecting whales.

Janina created the illustrations for the Blue Ocean Watch video ‘The Song of Life’ relating to sound pollution affecting whales.

As an artist, she feels happiest when recreating images of the ocean in her paintings. “I hope that through my art and my love of the sea, I can make my voice heard and make a difference."

With the arrival of her first daughter, Janina's love for painting and drawing found a new lease on life and, before long, she combined her passion for illustration with the wonderfully inspiring world of children. Today she works as a freelance packaging designer, artist, illustrator and children's book author. She enjoys the creative energy of Paris, where she lives with her English husband and her two daughters.

Since 2014 Janina Rossiter has written and illustrated 9 picture books in the series Tovi the Penguin (TTP).

TTP - goes camping, TTP - goes away for Christmas, TTP - goes to London TTP - goes into space, TTP - goes into to the seaside TTP - goes trick-or-treating, TTP - goes on a treasure hunt in Paris and TTP - goes to Ireland

In 2017 Janina started a new concept series. Early Childhood & Middle Childhood concepts

1. "The ABC animal picnic" - A picture book that uses alliteration to help your child memorize the different sounds of each letter of the alphabet. (Early Childhood)

2. "1, 2, 3, Who's Cleaning the Sea?" A Counting Picture Book About Protecting Our Planet. (Early Childhood)

3. "Diamonds, Hearts & Sea Stars!" - A picture book about shapes found in the ocean and to raise environmental awareness in children. (Middle Childhood)
