Dimitris Politis was born in Greece. He spent his formative years on the Aegean island of Tinos, and later studied Economics in Greece and Classics and Italian Literature in Ireland. He has lived in Greece, Ireland, the UK, Italy, Luxembourg and Belgium. He is an author of numerous articles and reviews on international working conditions and occupational health and safety; he has also published many short stores in Greek literary magazines and websites. His first novel, “The Stolen Life of a Cheerful Man”, was published in Greek in 2012 and in English in 2014. His second novel in Greek “The Next Stop” was published in Greek in 2018 and in English in 2020.
