Daniel Reany is a senior producer and reporter for the Christian Broadcasting Network, and a freelance writer. He lived in Egypt for three years, and regularly travels in the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Creative Writing from Penn State, and a Master of Arts in Anthropology and Archaeology from the American University in Cairo.

His broadcast stories for CBN help raise funds to dig wells in remote villages, pay for lifesaving surgeries, and clothe and feed the poor and underprivileged.

In recognition of his charitable work, in 2014 Daniel was invested as a member of the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem, an honor granted by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
