Ok, short version: Born in New Jersey, raised in Minnesota, I'm a 1990 graduate of the University of New Hampshire. Since then, I've been a sportswriter most recently covered the University of Alabama. Previous beats include the Green Bay Packers, Arizona Cardinals and Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the National Football League, and in baseball the Arizona Diamondbacks. So I'm basically a cultural American mutt. I've also done 18 books and contributed to another. I'm working on a novel, but it's still under wraps.
