Liz Brady is the author of the Jane Yeats mystery series, set in Toronto. Jane is a true-crime writer, the daughter of a geriatric bimbo who owns a country music bar, a hard-boiled recluse, and an avenging angel with an attitude. She bounds from her desk onto her Harley to hunt down the bad guys. The first in the series, Bad Date, won the Arthur Ellis Award for Best First Novel.

After getting her Honours B.A. and M.A. from the University of Western Ontario, she received her Ph.D. for her dissertation on Virginia Woolf from University College, University of London.
