The author of three books--CITIES OF FLESH AND THE DEAD, Elixir Press, 2008; FAREWELL, MY LOVELIES, Story Line Press, 2000; HURRICANE WALK, BOA Editions, Ltd, 1992--Blakely is currently working on two manuscripts, RAIN IN OUR DOOR: DUETS WITH ROBERT JOHNSON and LOST ADDRESSES: NEW AND SELECTED POEMS A poetry editor at ANTIOCH REVIEW for a dozen years, she continues that position at NEW WORLD WRITING, and has recently contributed essays and critical pieces to that journal as well as HARVARD REVIEW, PLATH PROFILES, PLEIADES, and SMARTISH PACE.
