Deirdre K You know more children's books than anyone I know so I'm wondering if you could help. We are hoping to give each of our young nieces and nephews a book were the protagonist has their name (ie: When You Were Small for our nephew Henry).

Can you think of a charming children's book with a main character named Maria?

Thanks!

Kate I love your focus on family and storytelling. While you express this through helping people scrapbook, I do it through helping people journal. I co-authored 2 that help couples express love and appreciation for each other, 1 that makes it easy for elders (or anyone) to tell their life story and another for capturing family wisdom for the next generation. Whatever the format, it's all good! Best wishes. (www.marshallbooks.net)

Michelle So happy I stumbled upon your list here. I have enjoyed perusing your books and just wanted to thank you for reminding me of the Betsy-Tacy series. I had forgotten all about them. I just love this site!
