CHRISTINA PLAKA zeichnete bereits in der Grundschule Helden von Marvel Comics, mit elf Jahren fand sie zum Manga-Stil. Im Jahre 2002 nahm sie am Zeichenwettbewerb "Manga-Talente" teil - Deutschlands erstem Manga-Zeichnenwettbewerb, der vom Carlsen Verlag zusammen mit der Leipziger Buchmesse organisiert wurde. Sie gewann mit ihrer Geschichte "Vampire 1776" einen Buchpreis und die Aufmerksam des Verlages. Denn zeitgleich bewarb sich Christina beim Carlsen Verlag und veröffentlichte im Manga Magazin DAISUKI ab 2003 ihre Geschichte "Prussian Blue", die später in einem Sammelband erschien. Von 2005 bis 2012 erschien beim Tokyopop Verlag ihr Projekt "Yonen Buzz", die Fortsetzung von "Prussian Blue", welches sechs Bände und ein Artbook umfasst. Da ...more
