Valentina Bellicova is an entrepreneur, a speaker and an author. She was born and raised in Japan of Russian parents. If you ask her about her story she will tell you that it began a hundred years ago, when the Tsar of Russia lost his country and his life, while her grandparents, both paternal and maternal, merely lost their country, fortunate to have escaped with their life. Her status and that of thousands of Russians living in Japan at the time was that of “stateless.” From an early age books were a constant companion.
