Cassie Brode was born and raised in the state of Virginia. She went to BHS but went to complete her last year of High School at PFHS. She attends Liberty University.

She started reading books when she was in the fifth grade and started getting into writing at the age of 18.

She writes to express herself, so if it's someone's else's words, then it's not her telling a story. At that point, She's just as a writer, and she's not a writer. She's a sailing soul, a free spirit. She just needed to release all her frustration and heartache and pain. It's "easier" for her too, write about that type of stuff that "happiness."
