“I automatically assume people won't like me, so I don't talk to them unless they approach me first. I can't become a part of a crowd because I can't get past that feeling that I don't belong.”
Stephanie Kuehnert, Ballads of Suburbia

“It's the ballads I like best, and I'm not talking about the clichéd ones where a diva hits her highest note or a rock band tones it down a couple of notches for the ladies. I mean a true ballad. Dictionary definition: a song that tells a story in short stanzas and simple words, with repetition, refrain, etc. My definition: the punk rocker or the country crooner telling the story of his life in three minutes, reminding us of the numerous ways to screw up.”
Stephanie Kuehnert, Ballads of Suburbia

“You'll find that sometimes there is a huge valley between what we want to be and what we're capable of. ”
Stephanie Kuehnert, I Wanna Be Your Joey Ramone

Briana Hey Stephanie! I received Ballads of Suburbia from your publisher. Thanks again. I can't wait to also have the chance to read and review I Wanna Be Your Joey Ramone. I've heard great things about it. Hmmmmm, wonder if my library has it.

Have a good night Stephanie. :D

~Briana

P.S. Thanks for accepting my add.

Karen Stephanie - Thanks for the friending me. Ink Exchange looks really awesome. I'll have to recommend it to my daughter (I might read it, too.) Best, Karen
