LAKE CHARLES is "evocative" and "vivid"

Today Elizabeth A. White writes about Lake Charles at her fine crime fiction review weblog, Musings of the All Purpose Monkey.

"The book’s setting is wonderfully evocative, and Lynskey has done a masterful job of painting a vivid picture of a place that could only exist in the Great Smoky Mountains of Umpire, Tennessee in 1979. I can’t say that I’d ever want to actually visit there in real life, but I can definitely recommend you take a fictional journey to Lake Charles."

Pamela I want a book in my hand not on a screen - so I am still waiting for release. But I am anxious!

Why are you anxious? About Lake Charles?

message 3: by Pamela (new)

Pamela Ed, I am anxious because I want my book and Barnes&Noble says they haven't receive it yet. When I ordered my copy they said it would be in June 15th. Now they are telling me July 20th? I know I could buy an electronic copy and read it on my computer, but it is just not the same. (I'm old-school.) So I wait, anxious and impatient.

Okay, I see now. Lake Charles is in the distribution channels as we speak. My author copies arrived today. The holiday have slowed things, I guess. Please rest easy. LC is on the way. Thanks for writing. Have a fun, safe Fourth.
