I feel sad for such review. I know that the book The Royal Serf does not deserve such rating, more so from readers wanting to be informed, enlightened or even entertained. I have read the book again to give justice to my view that it is worth 5-stars rating.

The one star rating (because zero is not available) for The Royal Serf is really absurd. The rater might not have read it at all. Try reading and you will find liking it till the end.
Many thanks, Alma. I am not saddened by unfavorable reviews. I expected them because the virtues I depict in my novels have been demonized for decades. Unless one has an active mind, one would find Reason Reigns or Royal Serf difficult to understand. I highlight these ratings to discourage like-minded readers from "entering to win" my novels so that those who might appreciate them have a better chance. An independent thinker, a person of self-esteem, goes by his own mind, by the truth. I am mighty proud of Reason Reigns and Royal Serf.
Ayn Rand said that an artist bares his soul in his work - "and so do you, gentle reader, when you respond to it."
Ilyn, I rated the book 2 stars because I enjoy your views and agree with many of them, but I don't enjoy the book.
Andy's review http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...Andy requested Royal Serf (RS) in response to my offer to Goodreads Tea Party members. I was very disappointed to find that he is loose with facts. He said about RS on 10/15,"It is ... a REAL STRUGGLE to get through. I normally finish a book of this length in 2-3 days. I've been working on this one for 2-3 months."
Since he sent me his address on 8/21 and RS was sent no earlier that 8/24, he's had it for around a month and a half.
Some readers seem to think that their character does not show when they write reviews.
