Hey, thanks, Kaje! LOL @ "moving picture things."Ah, believe me, I'd love to be writing screenplays and teleplays full time, but I could never abandon short stories and novels. Plus, that there show biz is so darned competitive. I'd have to get my foot in 50 other doors before I got my foot in THE door. (But still, ya never know.)
I do have some lighter things in the hopper. It's just a matter of catching up on everything else before I get to it.
Don't you sometimes wish you could clone yourself?
Yeah, my clone could have made my last family trip (not fun) and write my blurbs (I have 3 due). But then she would probably drug me and take over my part of this life and claim to be me and...not worth it. I'd end up with all the scut work and none of the fun and my clone would write stories all day long. (You might share equally with your clone, but I'd be too lazy not to try to take advantage. Both of me would.) Maybe an intelligent robot...I look forward to your next writing when real life lets you get to it.
Yep, I have the strangest feeling my clone would be sitting on the couch all day eating chocolate and ordering me around with a bullhorn. Can't wait to read your Christmas story!
It's the second-to-last to come out (Dec. 30) which is fair enough because I'll have another short (Ghosts and Flames) released in November. (And I like to think of the late release as a compliment - like MLR thinks my story will still get picked up even after 40 others are out.) That Christmas anthology is going to rock. Have you looked at the complete author list?!
That anthology is going to rock! It's an amazing author list, isn't it? I can't wait to read them all.You know people are going to be hungry for your story. I like the December 30th date. That's a perfect position: kind of right in-between Christmas and New Year's.
Mine's the 13th, which is kind of perfect given the theme.
Love your title for the Nov. release!

And you wrote a Simpsons script - that takes some serious comedic chops. I envy you that skill (limericks just don't cut it.) There are a lot of people asking for lighter m/m around the threads. Do you have any books in the works, or are we going to lose you to those newfangled moving picture things?
