Starting this week, I'll be posting a new part to a serial I've been working on for a while. This new work is rated completely safe for work, and while I do not consider it to be Young Adult work, it will, hopefully, appeal to a larger audience.

Themes include MECHA, ROBOT, ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, TRANSHUMANISM, etc. Fans of work such as Saberhagen's Berserker series, Kobayashi's Dragon's Heaven, Macross, Gundam, L-Gaim, Dunbine, Votoms and Bubblegum Crisis will enjoy the work. But no familiarity with any of the above titles is required. This is not fanfic. It is original, professionally edited work.

Set in a far-flung universe, and revolving around sentient AI mecha of mysterious alien origin called Metals, "Screaming Metal" is a standalone story -- the first in a series called Metal Fiction.

On the distant Luddite world of Shake Hands, Priyanka and her crew -- Deshel and Suen -- seek to extract the the braincore of a Metal supposedly buried deep within a centuries-old junkyand. What they don't know is that they are not alone in their search, and are soon at odds with the planet locals and other unknown forces.
