I’ve had this site revamped for months now, just waiting for the right topic to come along, I suppose. It’s January 1st, so that seems as good a time as any to dive in and get started.

For the past several years, I’ve signed up with Get Your Words Out and pledged to write a certain number of words in the year. Last year, between editing and writer’s block from hell, I didn’t get so much done, around 111,000 out of a planned 400,000 words. The year before that, though, I managed 450,000 words. So this year, I pledged 500,000 words.

Yep. Half a million. And I’m starting today. I have two novels I want to finish this year, among other projects.

It’s ambitious, but I can do it.
