Sad news

I'm deeply saddened to hear that my Down syndrome cousin, who was the inspiration for my main character Eve, has passed away.

He really was a shining light and will find his own silver mist.

Veronica Martin, I'm sorry for your loss. I too had a cousin who was somewhat the inspiration for the character, Billy, in my book, Billy's First Dance. My cousin had Spina Bifida. He lost his life several years ago...a bright light that was extinguished too soon.

Martin Treanor Your thoughts are much appreciated Veronica. Certain people are just special - I wanted to portray this in The Silver Mist, as I'm sure you also did in Billy's First Dance. I look forward to getting a copy.
