Take Amazon's money and run. Episodes only work out financially if you are charging $5 a chapter like E William Brown does. For readers, Vella is about triple the cost of an eBook... you're the only author good enough to shell out money for.

You are correct. Doing the math, someone reading the book by episodes would end up paying about $7-8 in Vella versus $4.99 for the ebook and a fraction of their $10 subscription to Kindle Unlimited. The 200-token bonus reduces this by roughly $2, but that only helps once. Meanwhile, the authors only get 50% of the total, so they aren't getting rich, either. Thanks for the support!
