I seldom read short fiction, or novellas, unless they are the continuing stories of characters I’m invested in through novel length or series books.

I'm a fan of continuing character series too. I never want to let characters go. (Which is why my flash fiction tends to have sequels on my FB group, and 2K ends up at 10K)
But I also enjoy short fiction, when I just have time to do a quick read. And I love the fun of writing it - no editing, formatting, reviews, no pressure. It's like when I used to write just for fun all those years, but I get to share it.

I'm one of a group of authors (led by the amazing Fiona Glass) who decided to create an online 'zine with short fiction and other short articles, just for fun. Introducing "RoM/Mantic Reads"
