So much of this mirrors my own experiences in my early 20s - religious parents who wanted me on a narrow, sheltered path; rebelling by moving away and getting involved with a guy who wasn't right for me; both of us unknowingly autistic. It's a gut punch, but nice to know we aren't alone in these experiences.
