Oh, Laura, so good to hear from you! I hope life is being good to you and your family. It's been an interesting few years, hasn't it?

We do live in interesting times! We're all good, though it was a bit bumpy at times. The pandemic was surreal. We never got COVID in our house (yet.) I'm retired now; stress at a toxic workplace made it impossible for me to continue working (it was a complicated situation.) As a result, I became very sick. It was best to leave on my terms for my health and well-being; it wasn't worth sacrificing my life for a job I loved and risk having a stroke or a heart attack. I'm on the mend, getting stronger. I love being retired! I have no regrets. I'm making lots of new artwork and finally getting back into writing now that I have my focus back. I've started using Substack, and I love it! It's lovely hearing news about you and I'm glad that you're thriving doing the things you love! Take care, Laura
