Who?

i am a woman
i am who God wants me to be
i am the one who lives to fulfill my destiny

i am a woman
i will not be a stereotype of the world
i am the one who, whatever the storm, remains bold

i am a woman
i am an embodiment of beauty
i am the one who loves life, but not shrouded in vanity

i am a woman
i love hard, play hard, cry in torrents when hurt
i am the one who laughs still, even when doors seem shut

i am a woman
i will not be defined by my mistakes or judgment
i am the one who remembers i live as much as now will permit

i am a woman
i am ready to try, ready to succeed, unafraid to fail;
i am the one who knows that to acheive, i need to set sail

i am a woman
i may not be where i'd like to be
i am the one who will not go back to where i have been

i am a woman
i am weak, i am strong, i allow myself to feel
i am the one whose strength is sourced from Him who says: "Peace, be still"

i am a woman
i am God's incarnate
i will be still.
