Well, what can I say? Red Flags has been an idea of mine since I can remember, but with working full time, I never had the time to write it.
As a military spouse, our constant moves leave my career in flux, so since we have made yet another move, and I am not currently working, I finally set out to complete my first novel. I am BEYOND PROUD of this accomplishment, because contrary to what some may believe, it is not an easy task.
I was certain that this story would not be received well by ALL, and that is okay. Jason is not your typical Hero, making you want to "swoon" (as some say). He is controversial and at times maddening, but if you feel him through the book, then I kind of feel like I did my job. I was certain that it would be hit or miss with him, and from what I can gather, that is happening.
I do want to thank you for reading the book, and let you know that there is in fact going to be a book 2. :) How could there not be, look at that ending! LOL
Jason does have redeeming qualities, and he does care for Cara deeply, so some sincere groveling is definitely in the cards for him.
I know I can't please everyone and I won't try. There have books that I have read and have not cared for either, it happens! :)
Thank you once again for reading the book, and for following me on this crazy journey. I set out a goal for myself to complete a novel and I did that. I am proud of the accomplishment and of Red Flags! :)
