Comments are public and can easily be overlooked. Messages which can be accessed from the profile page are private. For some reason I was not able to send you a private message when clicking on SEND MESSAGE on your profile page.

What's confusing: In discussion threads, as this one, public comments are also called messages. I have joined Goodreads on April 15, 2013 but am still stumbling around this website as a blind person in an enchanted forest. That's why I have not joined either facebook or twitter yet. One website to drive me nuts is enough to start out with. Please go to my profile page and try to send me a message from it. If this does not work, please send me an e-mail.
