What was one of the first urban fiction/streetlit books you read? What about it made you fall in love with urban fiction.


I will start it off......

I can remember reading Donald Goines Dopefined and it blew my mind. The realness of the characters and the depiction of the life sucked me in.. I eventually and very quickly devoured everything he wrote.... and would read them again and again
