I just came across this post via Goodreads, and even though it's six years old, for me, it still holds the impact I'm sure it did back then for others. This may be just a strange non sequitur, but my debut novel, You Wish (2019), relies heavily on my main character's love of Jack London. Like you, me and countless others, my protagonist, fourteen-year-old Jake Parker, is enthralled when he first discovers London's Call of the Wild.
